Join in the fun and re-live those songs of yesteryear as your distinguished Chairman welcomes you to this emporium of mirth….this cavern of conviviality….for a night of unparalleled frivolities and brought to you, of course, at the most enor…….mous expense! Featuring comedy skits, barbershop quartette and songs of the Empire.  Boo and hiss at the villain, cheer for the hero in the melodrama and sing along to the final chorus of “Down at the Old Bull and Bush”. The PSA concerts are in full swing ! ! !

The Pleasant Sunday Afternoon (PSA) series re-started on Sunday May 2nd at 2pm.
These musical concerts are held from 2pm to approx 4.30pm on the first Sundays of the month, up to October 2nd. The CCSA Hall in Nutley St., Caloundra is the venue for these very entertaining, variety concerts.
 
Hosted by Bev Gourlay, Neil Booth and Aart Schouten, these afternoons are a lot of fun, and apart from these 3 "performers", there are different artists every month, and the money is raised for the Caloundra Chorale.

The August 1st Pleasant Sunday Afternoon concert will as usual be a fun-filled afternoon and will feature the very diverse talents of:  Singer/Dancer/Violinist Joy Darmod,  Out of the Blue - the very popular a capella singing group, Diane and Lorraine - a Comic Duo, 12 year old Sally Skelton who will dance and sing her brilliant Junior Eisteddfod entries,  Manfred Villars - a Funny Poet, Jenaya Keats - a brilliant pianist, Singers Judy Irvine (Chorale member), Trevor Mitchell and Rosie Camilleri (Senior Idol Finalists), Griffin Tintor - magnificent young Flamenco guitar player.  Bev Gourlay, Aart Schouten and pianist Neil Booth complete the Variety line-up.

General Admission at the door is $9, or only $5 for Friends of the Chorale, and this includes afternoon tea.

The Caloundra Chorale and Theatre Company is a Sunshine Coast Performance Group producing all aspects of live theatre; musicals, drama, comedy, youth theatre, concerts and choral works.

Come and join this group of young Thespians. Children of all ages welcome. Thursday afternoons at our Theatre. Experienced Tutors. We cater for young people of all grades and experience levels. Youth Theatre Group

The group meets on Monday afternoons 3.30 - 5.00pm. Age range is primarily 13 - 17 years. Any young people interested in plays, and theatre performances also those interested in learning backstage work, lighting, sound, directing, writing would be most welcome. Friends of Chorale

Our company also includes a support group called the 'Friends of Chorale' (fondly referred to as 'FOC'). These members are a valued part of the group are kept in touch by regular newsletters. There is a small yearly fee which entitles the members to discounted theatre tickets to the majority of our concerts or productions. Membership is $20 per person, ‘FOC’ are entitled to special reduced price admission to six (6) Chorale productions during the next 12 months.
