Darrell Watson

Heading the line up is well known ‘tis band leader, Darrell Watson who promises some Irish songs (of course, of course). Bev will team with her baritone husband Aart Schouten for some harmonious duets, including a short singalong (everyone will know the words!). Young singer Alex Chambers will be introduced to this new audience. Recently he was the overall Male Singer winner for the Maryborough Junior Eisteddfod and promises to perform some musical theatre songs. Tracy Stoddart was recently on stage in the Chorale’s Blythe Spirit, but she’ll be singing this time. It will be an enjoyable encore!

To balance these singers, a wind quartet headed by Barry Rodgers and 3 members of the Buderim Concert Band, will herald different music genre. Also Neil Booth and Beryl Meyers will vie for grand piano stool area – their duets are legendary! And to top this variety, Maria Lindsay promises a hissy fit about a snake pit – or something funny anyway.

The Pleasant Sunday Afternoon concerts support the Caloundra Chorale & Theatre Co and are held in the
CCSA Hall, Nutley Street, Caloundra,
starting at 2 pm.

General admission at the door is $10 (Caloundra Chorale members pay only $5 ) and this includes a tasty afternoon tea. It's the cheapest quality concert in town!

There's no need to book, just arrive around 1.30pm to buy a raffle ticket beforehand.
